Doki Doki Literature Club! (DDLC) is an indie visual novel released in 2017 by Team Salvato, created by Dan Salvato. Despite initial appearances as a lighthearted anime dating sim, the game is famously a psychological horror experience that subverts traditional visual novel tropes and breaks the fourth wall.
